Available to domestic customers located within 30 miles of our headquarters in Thame, Oxfordshire.
A domestic solar thermal system service includes checking the condition and pressure of any solar fluid (glycol), inspecting collectors and pipework for leaks or damage, verifying pump operation and control settings, and ensuring the system is delivering heat effectively to the hot water cylinder.
If the servicing uncovers solar damage or glycol deterioration, we will provide an estimate for an additional flush and cleaning cycle or glycol replacement.
Regular maintenance is recommended to preserve system efficiency and is often required under manufacturer warranties, which may stipulate annual servicing to maintain coverage and ensure long-term performance.
